Kayvene McJannett is the brains and hands behind Studio KAVENE. An artist for many years, she decided in late 2009 to launch KAVENE (dropping the “y” from her name to make the pronunciation easier to grasp - like ravine with a K), where she designs and makes her cement & woven stainless steel pieces.
Drawing inspiration from textiles, surfaces and nature, she has developed an excellent sense of proportion and simplicity. Her admiration of illuminated objects and art keep her searching for fresh ideas and creative designs.
